West End Driving is one of Glasgow's longest established driving schools. We've been helping learners pass their driving test for over 30 years, and in that time we've built a team of experienced, patient instructors who know the local roads inside out.
We offer both manual and automatic driving lessons across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Our instructors are on the road seven days a week from 8am to 8pm, so fitting lessons around your schedule is straightforward.

Become an Instructor
Our driving instructor trainers have a vast amount of experience, and between them have trained many of the current driving instructors in Glasgow and Scotland.
Who we are
We're a team of ADI approved instructors based in Glasgow's West End. Our instructors live and work in the areas they teach, which means they know the local test routes, tricky junctions and common mistakes that catch learners out.
Over the years, we've trained hundreds of drivers across Glasgow. Many of our pupils come to us through word of mouth, recommended by friends or family members who passed with us. We think that says a lot about the quality of instruction we provide.
Our Driving Instructors
Our team includes both male and female driving instructors. If you have a preference, just let us know when you book and we'll do our best to match you with the right instructor.
Some of our instructors also speak additional languages, including Urdu. This can make a real difference for learners who feel more comfortable receiving instruction in their first language.
All of our instructors are fully qualified and ADI approved. They use dual controlled cars and are trained to keep you safe while you learn.

Our instructors regularly take pupils to test centres at Anniesland and Shieldhall. They know these test routes well and can prepare you for the specific challenges you'll face on the day. This includes busy roundabouts, tricky junctions and the roads examiners like to use.
