Gordon Ross is an experienced instructor, with a many first time passes to his name. Gordon worked as a senior member of staff at the Product Design Engineering Dept of Glasgow School of Art for seventeen years, so has a great deal of educational and training experience. Gordon is also a fully qualified Health and Safety Advisor, and has held a Saint Andrews Ambulance Service First aid Certificate for nine years, prior to becoming a Driving Instructor. As well as a full syllabus of driving Tuition, Gordon specialises in both manoeuvre techniques and Pass Plus courses. He is patient and believes in teaching at a pace dictated by the pupil. With his safety background you can be sure you are always in safe hands, and that you will always be taught calmly and patiently.
If you are concerned about the effect learning (and continuing) to drive will have on your carbon 'footprint' then look no further. Gordon runs his car on 100% recycled vegetable oil, instead of diesel. This fuel is made under government licence by a small Glasgow company, so you will help save the planet and support a local sustainable business. As part of your training, Gordon will also teach you how to drive in an 'eco-friendly way, reducing your exhaust emissions and fuel consumption
